Hi, I’m Audrey! I grew up on a farm in Nebraska, and I moved to Kansas City about 15 years ago and have been teaching in the KC public school system ever since. I love going to coffee shops and drinking hot chocolate, I love traveling, I love playing the piano and singing in my church choir, I love watching cheesy romance movies, and I love sporting events of all kinds! …especially the KC Royals, the Nebraska Huskers, and my school’s athletic teams.
But most of all, I love singing worship songs, reading and studying the Bible, and learning more about Jesus and His incredible love and heart for humans. One of my favorite chapters in the Bible is Acts 2, which presents the most beautiful picture of what it looks like to live in a “fellowship of believers.” What if our entire world lived like that? The last six verses in Acts 2 are the inspiration behind this blog and some dream-seeds God has planted in my heart for the future.
